I love to say that “fashion is about so much more than pretty clothes”—it is an incredibly significant medium through which we can access the most intimate and important parts of what it means to be human. Because of this, its storytelling capabilities are endless.

I first started The Art of Dress in 2011 as a platform to share some of those stories through my passion for the history of fashion. I never in a million years could have imagined that my little blog and social media account would blossom into a global community of over 400,000 like-minded individuals from around the world, all of whom share a love for the art, heart, and history of the clothes we wear.
